Privacy Policy

I. General Provisions
  1. This Privacy Policy defines the rules for data processing by the mobile application "Board Game Tracker" (hereinafter: "the Application"), in particular regarding technical data automatically collected through external services used to ensure stability and improve the quality of the Application.

    The Application does not process personal data within the meaning of Article 4(1) of the GDPR and does not enable user identification.
II. Data Controller
  1. The controller of technical data processed by the mobile application "Board Game Tracker" is a natural person – the developer of the application.

    Any questions regarding privacy can be sent to the email address: jakula.developer@gmail.com (hereinafter: "the Administrator").

    The Application does not process personal data within the meaning of the GDPR and does not allow user identification.
III. Purpose of Data Collection
  1. The "Board Game Tracker" application does not collect users' personal data as defined by the GDPR. Data manually entered by the user (such as player names or scores) is stored locally on the user's device and is not transmitted to external servers in a way that would enable identification of a natural person.

    However, the application uses services provided by Google LLC (Firebase), which automatically collect technical data and data related to the use of the application's functionalities, including:
    • information about the country from which the user accesses the app (based on IP address),
    • device type and model,
    • operating system and application version,
    • frequency of app usage and session duration,
    • technical error reports,
    • app events such as adding a new game, saving scores, or finishing a session.
  2. This data is used solely for technical, diagnostic, and statistical purposes, including analyzing app usage and improving the application. The Administrator does not process data in a way that allows user identification and does not combine this data with other information sources. Processing of technical data is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – the legitimate interest of the Administrator to ensure security, analysis, and continuity of the application's operation.
IV. Type of Data Processed
  1. The "Board Game Tracker" application does not process personal user data as defined by the GDPR. All data entered by the user is stored locally, and data collected via Firebase is anonymous and technical/statistical in nature.
V. Data Retention Period
  1. The "Board Game Tracker" application does not process personal data, so individual retention periods are not defined.

    Technical and statistical data automatically collected by Firebase (Google LLC) may be retained in accordance with the privacy policy and data retention rules defined by that service provider.
VI. Sharing of Personal Data
  1. The administrator of the "Board Game Tracker" application does not share any personal data with third parties, as such data is not processed by the application.
  2. Technical and statistical data may be automatically processed by Firebase (Google LLC), used by the application. Google, as an independent data controller, may process this information on servers located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), particularly in the United States, in accordance with its own privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
VII. User Rights
  1. The "Board Game Tracker" application does not process users’ personal data under the GDPR, therefore it is not possible to identify users or fulfill individual rights related to data access, rectification, or portability.

VIII. Cookies and Related Technologies
  1. The "Board Game Tracker" application does not use cookies for tracking users or for marketing purposes.
  2. Some application features (including Firebase analytics services) may use technically necessary cookies or similar technologies (e.g., localStorage, IndexedDB) to ensure correct app operation and statistical usage analysis.
  3. The user can manage cookies and other browser data through their browser settings.
IX. Final Provisions
  1. The Administrator reserves the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, provided that they do not violate user rights.
  2. The updated version of the policy will be published on the same website, in the app, or in the app store description.
  3. For matters not covered by this Privacy Policy, the provisions of the GDPR and relevant Polish laws apply.
